LMAO. So I previously, I had cut out fabric for this skirt before. That fabric, I really did use fabric dye to put a gradient into it. Unfortunately, I was kind of pissed off about the fact that EVERY TIME you were to wash the damn thing, the color would fade. 

So I took some orange fabric (as opposed to before, I had used yellow) and recut the pattern and sewed it. The waviness is done how you’d normally do it, but I lit the bottom on fire (It’s called burning, that technique exists, r-really!) for extra effect.

…As for the gradient, it was done with fabric paint and water this time around. It actually worked and looks nice, which surprised me. I realize if it was anything else, like Yuna’s sleeves from FFX or larger, using the fabric dye is the better route. Grr that color fade. >:T Only bad thing about the paint method is that the fabric becomes stiff if, if that’s not what you want. haha i’m still using paint on onion knight’s stupid crap though.
